Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ?

We believe that going to church is very important, but going to Heaven is eternally important. Jesus told a highly educated Pharisee, “…except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) That means that religion will not get you to heaven, but you must have a relationship with God by receiving His Son, Jesus Christ, and experiencing the new birth.

When you were born the first time, you were born a sinner. “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23). God cannot let any sin into His holy Heaven. “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth.” (Revelation 21:27)

If you die in your sin, you will be eternally separated from God in a place called Hell. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23a). But God provided the gift of salvation through the death on the cross, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23b). The gift of salvation can be yours if you “confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9)

  Are you willing to do that today? “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved” (Romans 10:13)
